Description
Women with substance abuse problems are likely to have adverse attitudes. Can you explain what that means?
Explanation & Answer
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
Women with substance abuse are more likely to have problems in modulating their anger, cognitive processes and behavior. This is because there are many problems that women with substance abuse face in their social environment. Women are expected to be care-givers and when a woman is branded a drunkard, society tends to view her as 'abnormal. In addition to this, most women with substance abuse have experienced violence earlier in their lives and this reflects on their behavior as well. Hence, these women tend to be angry and display extreme behaviors.
