Question Description

Mesospheric- level clouds called noctilucent clouds, are sunlit for quite some time after dark due to their altitude. The last light reaching an obser.ver at A on Earth occurs at sunset. The last light reaching the noctilucent clouds at some height H occurs some 38 mins after surface sunset.If Earths diameter is taken to be 1.27 * 10 7 m, at what altitude (H) are the clouds?
