Protists : - The kingdom of eukaryotic organisms which are unicellular and less multicellular. They include somefungi, algea and protozoans.
Protozoan : - It is a diverse group of eukaryotic organisms which belongs to kingdom protista. They are unicellular. They exists as single or they live in colonies.
Algae : - It is microscopic photosynthetic organism which occurs in many habitats. Their types are from unicellular to multicellular.
Green Algae : - It differs ion size from microscopic to large plants. Some algae have flagella to make movement. but many green algae are non-motile. The green chloroplast can be observed easily in the cell of green algae under a microscope.
Diatoms : - It is a major group of algae. These are photosynthesising algae and are found in every aquatic environment almost.
Dinoflagellates : - It belongs to the kingdom of protista and it has been classified using ICBN and ICZN(International codes of botanical and zoological nomenclature). It has two flagellas.
Red tides : - It is phenomenon caused by algal bloom during which the number of algae becomes so much that they discolor the coastal water which is called as red tides.
