Investigating Germinating Peas

timer Asked: Sep 13th, 2015

Question description

Sheet reads: We took 6 small empty fizzy drink bottles. Into each if the first three bottles we put 200 germinating peas. Into each of the other bottles we put 200 boiled peas. Using a measuring cylinder we put 10cm3 of water into each bottle. Then we put the lids on each bottle. The lids had holes drilled into them where we put thermometers in, and we made sure they touched the bottom. We left the bottles on the window sil and we measured the temp after 5 days.

The table below this text shows the original temp and the change in temp. The original temp does vary slightly only by a few Celsius ( 16, 18, 16, 16, 18, 17 ) And the temp after 5 days ( 25, 22, 21, 18, 20, 20 ) The first three numbers are the normal ones, and the others are the boiled peas.

I've done most of the task but I am struggling to do the second part as I currently have a head ache.
