Question description

Wheelchair ramps for access to public building are allowed a maximum of one inch of vertical increase for every one foot of horizontal distance. Would a ramp that is 10 feet long and 8 inches tall meet this guideline? Explain you reasoning to a classmate.

~ I think the answer is no since there is a 1 inch vertical increase for every foot and a ramp that is 10 ft would need to be 10 inches tall vertically.

I was wanting someone else's input.
