For example, many companies had to change up their strategies some due to introducing health care for all employees. This led to some layoffs, decreased benefits, higher sales goals and quotas to meet the bottom line profits. Also some the employee benefits given may result in going with cheaper providers and changing doctors. The compensation strategy will fit into the budget but will be offset by with different sales/operation goals.
