There were 8 more students born in Texas than were born in Oklahoma. The number of students born in Arizona was 9 fewer than the number born in Oklahoma. How many were born in each state?

arizona = x-9
total =32
x+x+8+x-9 = 32
3x-1=32
3x=32+1
3x=33
x=33/3
x=11
oklahoma= 11
