Question description

the oscillation frequency of a floating object given by ω^2=ρfgA/m, where A is the cross sectional area of the floating object at the water line in equilibrium.

And

Fnety= -ρ_f Agy  ------     F=-ky    where k = ρ_f Ag .

T = 2pi/ω    T=2pi (sqrt(m/k)         (ω= Sqrt(k/m))

dont know if the second part is needed but I added everything just in case.
