Broadly there are three reasons for the greater stability of white society in South Carolina -
1. Agriculture success - Due to high fertile land, Rice and Indigo cultivation produced great results.
2. Economic activities and use of harbor - Trade in deer skin and beef along with construction of dams and canals. Slave labors were easily available to carry out the work due to higher wages.
3. Religious tolerance - Settlement from Jews and French was not only tolerated but welcomed.
