Politically women were looked down upon in that they were not allowed to vote.This made them form movements that enabled them to be accredited that right.
Socially, women were subjected to hard labour and harsh conditions.Due to this the women activists fought for their right so that the may be exempted from such labourious work to an extent of being employed as professionals in higher levels.
Economically, women were not given that mandate to participate in building up the nation but after forming their movements their activists fought for their conditions to a point they were considered as they contributed a lot and at a greater percentage.
