Explanation & Answer
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(-1-9)/(4-2)=-10/2=-5
y-y1=m(x-x1)
y-9=-5(x-2)
y-9=-5x+10
y=-5x+19

Industrial Psychological Stress Inventory Score Questions
Assignment:
Scenario:
An I/O psychologist was hired to investigate a stress reduction program at Tools R Us. The company believes that the workers are not disconnecting themselves from their work when out of the office causing excessive workload and burnout. 50 participants are randomly selected from the work place at Tools R Us. All participants are given a 20 item stress inventory, the IPSI, to measure their stress. For a period of 1 month, all participants were restricted from company internet, email, and work tasks outside of the workplace. All participants were again given the same 20 item stress inventory after the 1 month. Higher stress scores on the Industrial Psychological Stress Inventory (IPSI) indicate greater work related stress.
Research Question: Does disconnecting from work while outside the office reduce stress of employees?
Data file: Stress reduction study data-1.csv
Data file column descriptions:
Participant #: Not used in the analysis
IPSI Score Before Disconnecting: The subject’s scores on the Industrial Psychological Stress Inventory before disconnecting from work.
IPSI Score After Disconnecting: The subject’s scores on the Industrial Psychological Stress Inventory after the one month of disconnecting from work.

Rasmussen College Exercise and Diet Outcomes Comparative Paper
Multiple factors can correlate to a single outcome. Using available health statistics, form an opinion on whether exercise or diet has a greater impact on weight lost.Present your findings as a persuasive report inclusive of data visualizations. The data visualizations should compare the two key factors, one being exercise and the other being diet. In a third category, include both exercise and diet. Then share insights regarding these three separate categories in terms of weight loss. A primary point of emphasis should be to clearly communicate the correlation or causation of exercise and diet on weight loss. You will need to look at details such as the type of exercise and amount of time spent. Also, consider factors of diet like types of foods eaten and portion sizes. This assignment should be 2-3 pages in length.

University of New Hampshire MATLAB Digital Image Processing Project
Looking forward to a patient and informative instructor using MATLAB for digital image processing. This is an assignment for beginners, so it doesn't have any difficulty. The only test is how to use your own description to teach students who are using MATLAB for image analysis for the first time. There is one more extra task, “Please describe each of the three MATLAB procedures, which includes a text description and program code for experiments." Please note! Make notes to explain the words that require “learn how to use...” in the assignment when you use these words for coding!!!

FIN 307 Grantham University Principle of Finance Discussion
The firm's self-supporting growth rate is influenced by the firm's capital intensity ratio. The more assets the firm requires to achieve a certain sales level, the lower its sustainable growth rate will be. Many experts argue that it is better for an organization to grow organically or by putting the money back into the business and not taking on debt. Consider your own organization that you currently work for or have worked for in the past. What is their approach to growing the business? How would you advise your company based on what you have learned this week in terms of self-supporting growth?

CompetencyDetermine and interpret the linear correlation coefficient, and use linear regression to find a best fit line for a scatter plot of the data and make predictions.ScenarioAccording to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the probability of a magnitude 6.7 or greater earthquake in the Greater Bay Area is 63%, about 2 out of 3, in the next 30 years. In April 2008, scientists and engineers released a new earthquake forecast for the State of California called the Uniform California Earthquake Rupture Forecast (UCERF).As a junior analyst at the USGS, you are tasked to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to support the claim of a linear correlation between the magnitudes and depths from the earthquakes. Your deliverables will be a PowerPoint presentation you will create summarizing your findings and an excel document to show your work.Concepts Being StudiedCorrelation and regressionCreating scatterplotsConstructing and interpreting a Hypothesis Test for Correlation using r as the test statisticYou are given a spreadsheet that contains the following information:Magnitude measured on the Richter scaleDepth in kmUsing the spreadsheet, you will answer the problems below in a PowerPoint presentation.What to SubmitThe PowerPoint presentation should answer and explain the following questions based on the spreadsheet provided above.Slide 1: Title slideSlide 2: Introduce your scenario and data set including the variables provided.Slide 3: Construct a scatterplot of the two variables provided in the spreadsheet. Include a description of what you see in the scatterplot.Slide 4: Find the value of the linear correlation coefficient r and the critical value of r using α = 0.05. Include an explanation on how you found those values.Slide 5: Determine whether there is sufficient evidence to support the claim of a linear correlation between the magnitudes and the depths from the earthquakes. Explain.Slide 6: Find the regression equation. Let the predictor (x) variable be the magnitude. Identify the slope and the y-intercept within your regression equation.Slide 7: Is the equation a good model? Explain. What would be the best predicted depth of an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.0? Include the correct units.Slide 8: Conclude by recapping your ideas by summarizing the information presented in context of the scenario.Along with your PowerPoint presentation, you should include your Excel document which shows all calculations.
