is one of the best remedy for people under stress depression and
facing many challenges in life. It helps one of-load the burdens or
things that hurt someone's life. counseling is usually a journey of
self discovery a professional counselor should be very considerate on
the issues that have made the patient seek his advice. they should
listen to them and help them come to a solution by giving them hope.
Through counseling, the therapist and client work together to explore
the client's inner world. The goal is to increase self awareness and
facilitate change in the client's life. Often most people seek
therapists because they want to be happier with their life like other
people. Effective therapy requires that the therapist exhibit
respect, authenticity, genuineness, empathy, acceptance, and
unconditional positive regard. These qualities are at the heart of
therapy and facilitate a healthy connection that allows true healing
to occur. the counselors should create a place safe enough for people
to explore themselves .the client should be helped to be integrated.
The therapist should help the client move on with life despite the
past which keeps discouraging them in life .by so doing they will be
effective in their work.
