Question description

http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/1998/09/simple-change-cattle-diets-could-cut-e-coli-infection

so for my biology homework I had to read this article about Cattle feeding change could cut E.col risk. I don't understand this article. After reading this I have to find what the independent variable is, what the dependent variable is, what happened in the control group and what was done differently in the experimental group. I also have to write the problem these scientists were hoping to find out more about with this experiment or write a possible hypothesis for this experiment. THANKYOU!
