If the density of the object decreases, which of the following must be true?
A. The volume may have increased. (I think it's A, but I'm not sure)
B. The mass may have increased.
C. The object will float (My friends say it's C, but I think it's wrong)

since volume is inversely proportional to density, its increase will decrease the density of the object provided mass is held constant. Therefore:
A. The volume may have increased. ( is the appropriate answer).
the object will float is not right answer, just ask yourself this question, " if a stone slightly reduces in density, will it float? the answer is no!
