Description
Find 3 resources and write their annotated bibliography in 3 body paragraphs. Each resource has 1 body paragraph. You will find them from the book which called "The Color Purple" the name of the author is "Alice Walker". I will provide the example for that as image. DO NOT copy the example. Appiah, Anthony. "The Uncompleted Argument: Dubois and the
Illusion of Race. Critical Inquiry 12. (1985): 21-37. JSTOR.
Web. 22 April 2008.
Appiah argues through examination of DuBois' life, Dusk of Dawn
and Conservation of the Races, that DuBois' connection with
race played in intricate part in shaping his views. Although,
Dubois left the United States and went to live in Ghana, Appiah
states that he did not escape race. Therefore when he died the
problem did not cease to exist and there was still his
uncompleted business which had not been resolved.
Berry, Mary Frances. "Dubois as Social Activist: Why We Are Not
Saved. Annals of the American Academy of Political and
Social Science 568. (2000): 100-110. JSTOR. Web. 29 April
2008
Berry discusses the big question that Dubois asked, What will be
the Negro's place in the industrial order, by positing her own
question, What will be the Black-American's place in the
technological disorder. She begins the article with a
description of Dubois by Amiri Baraka, speaks briefly of Dubois'
conflict with Booker T. Washington, his departure from the
academy and into his stint of being a social activist. By asking
her own question, Berry reminds current African Americans that
there is much work still to be done if we want to compete in
today's market.

ASSIGNMENT: For this essay, you will select one of the sources you have found through your preliminary research about your research topic. Which source you choose is up to you; however, it should be substantial enough that you will be able to talk about it at length, and intricate enough that it will keep you (and your reader) interested. In order to foster learning and growth, all essays you submit must be newly written specifically for this course. Any recycled work will be sent back with a 0, and you will be given one attempt to redo the Touchstone. The introduction of this paper will involve introducing the source: Provide the author, the title, and the context (where you found the source, where it was originally published, who sponsored it, etc.)You will then go on to evaluate the source on two levels:Credibility: Using the information in this unit as a guide, evaluate the source’s authenticity and reliability. Look at all the information that you can find about the source to establish the author’s (or sponsor’s) trustworthiness.Usefulness: Using a combination of summary and analysis, examine the source on a critical level. Determine what the source’s purpose (thesis) is, and how it arrives at that goal. Examine its value to you and the project you are working on. How will it help you prove your own points? How might it come in handy to back up a claim (or address a counter-claim)?Finally, you will include a conclusion which shows your final assessments on both counts.Sample TouchstoneA. IPSY 8579 WU Dispositional v Situational Factors & Job Attitudes Discussion
Individuals have a variety of personality
traits, values, and attitudes that they bring with them into the
workplace. These characteristics, whether stable or transient, are
termed dispositional factors. Because dispositional factors can
be useful in predicting individual behavior and performance across
diverse situations, organizations value this information when hiring,
developing, and promoting employees. The concepts of personal dispositions often are referred to interchangeably in the literature as traits, personality, and individual characteristics.
Job attitudes research commonly uses situational variables (e.g., pay,
work environment, task characteristics) as well as dispositional
variables (e.g., conscientiousness, neuroticism) as determinants of job
attitudes. In this Discussion, you will take a position on
whether job attitudes are influenced more by situational or dispositions
variables. You will also explore how certain aspects such as gender,
age, industry, or employee educational level might also play a mediating
role.To prepare for this Discussion:Think about whether job attitudes are affected most by dispositional
or situational factors. Consider aspects of gender, age, industry, or
educational level that might influence perceptions of situational and/or
dispositional factors.Read the article “The Relationship Between Personality and Job
Satisfaction Across Occupations.” Consider how individual personality
influences career choice and the impact on P-E fit and commitment.Read the article “Person-Environment Fit: A Review of its Basic
Tenets.” Think about the individual and organizational attributes that
employees consider most important to them. Consider the impact of this
and personality profiles on fit and job satisfaction.Part 1Post a response to the following: Provide your position on whether job
attitudes are affected most by situational factors or by a person’s
disposition and justify your position. Explain any aspects of gender,
age, industry or employee educational level (or other factors in the
literature) that can play a significant role in how situational and
dispositional factors affect job attitudes.

This paper assignment asks you to write a comparison between an Ancient Greek/Roman building and a building in Los Angeles that has been inspired by the Ancient Greek/Roman architectural tradition. Write a 2-3 page paper, double-spaced, 1 inch margins, Times New Roman font. You do not need to do outside research. Links with information are provided below. Choose one Ancient Greek or Ancient Roman building from the list below and pair it with one building in Los Angeles. Then write a compare and contrast essay. How are the building similar? How are they different? Be sure to discuss function. How is each building used? Who uses it? What are the materials? Architectural details? Organization of the building? As with the other compare and contrast essays, you must discuss the works together.
