In this lab, you will be creating
and testing a paper airplane.
Now it’s your turn to carry out an investigation and apply the steps of the scientific method. For your project you will make and test some paper airplanes.
You will walk through the steps of the scientific method in this project.First you make an airplane and observe it. Then, you will do some research about what things may help your design improve its flight. Next, you will form a hypothesis and procedures to test your hypothesis. During the investigation you will record observations like distance so that you can assess and revise your hypothesis. Finally, you will draw some conclusions about your experiment and communicate those results.
You will need to download a report form that you can complete and submit for grading. The form will also give you instructions for the project. Click here to download your project report form and detailed instructions.
Submit your completed project to the Project: Paper Airplane assignment link for grading.
To see how this project will be graded, visit the Writing rubric in the orientation section of the course.
