Question description

1.  Digital images are usually formed from millions of tiny dots of

color. T/F?

2.  Since 1983, when telescopes were first equipped with solid-state

     cameras, charge-coupled devices (CCDs) have enabled astronomers to

     study objects thousands of times fainter than what most sensitive 

     photographic plates can capture.

3.  Image quality and sharpness of photos have not improved

      dramatically over the years.  

4.  As digital cameras incorporate more and more features, their

      usefulness always increases.

5.  Digital images today are often worse than film images. 

6.  Both digital and film cameras are often able to capture not only

     still photographs, but also sound and video.

7.  Digital photography requires the use of toxic chemicals; whereas,

     film photography does not.

8. Sometimes the digital camera has a photo-editing program that
