Question Description
A supply of chemicals; chemical A weighs 646grams/liter and also chemical B weighs 1128 grams/liter. You cannot use the pure form of the chemicals however there are two mixtures. Mixture H contains 20% chemical A and 80% chemical B by volume. Mixture L contains 80% of chemical A and 20% of chemical B.
i) How much of each mixture? H and L must be used to make 10 kg of a mixture which is 50% A and 50% B by weight? Please answer in terms of variables.
ii) How much of each mixture? H and L must be used to make 10 liters of a mixture which is 50% A and 50% B by vloume? Please answer in terms of variables.This question has not been answered.
