Blumia Nervosa is is a serious potentially life threatening eating disorder.People with blumia may secretly binge eating -large amount of food and then purge, trying to get rid of the extra calories in an unhealthy way, for example someone with blumia may force vomiting or engage in excessive exercise.Sometime people purge after eating only a small snack or normal size meal.The person with blumia is conscious of his or her body weight and shape.
Binge eating is a pattern of disordered eating which consists of uncontrollable eating.It is sometimes a symptom of binge eating disorder or compulsive disorder.During such binges a person rapidly consumes an excessive amount of food.The difference between blumia and binge eating is that in blumia the person try to get rid of this extra food and calories by even unhealthy methods,like vomiting etc.The person feels hungry all the time , then he takes out the food by vomiting.
