Week 3 Marketing Discussion
It’s critical to understand all the factors that make a customer a good candidate to buy your product. First take a look at this product, the new iphone X, cost: $1,000.Now, try to figure out who the IDEAL customer is for this product. Assess as many different factors as you can think of. Who are they? You can evaluate all of the following: race, gender, education level, income level, where do they live (urban vs rural), what motivates them? How many kids do you think they have? Figure out the perfect customer and tell me why these factors might influence them to buy the iphone X. Next, come up with a brief marketing pitch 2-3 sentences trying to persuade the target customer this phone is the perfect for him/her. Then discuss why you think this marketing message is the correct message for your specified target market in the above bullet. The person who gets this phone will probably be well established and can afford a costly phone like the IPhone X. They can be any race, gender, or live anywhere. The person who gets this phone probably has a liking of nice things, and likes to keep things at their fingertips. The person who gets this phone probably has no kids. You wouldn’t want a little kids playing with this phone, which is also glass. Like I mentioned above I feel the IPhone X is for business people. The phone run iOS 11, which is the most, secure mobile OS available today. Get an IPhone X, it’s safe and secure and you’ll always have it at your fingertips when needed.I think this marketing message I used is the correct message for the target audience I’m trying to reach, which is business customers. Business people are always on the move and always needing their files and other personal papers and documents on hand. If they have the IPhone X they can have this safe and secure phone with these files at their fingertips at all times.
