Description
What is the average age for admission into assisted living? Explain
Explanation & Answer
Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
The average age will depend on the facilities location. For example, a jurisdiction that is mostly comprised of our elderly population would range from 40 and up. However, the facility I work in has an average age range of 30-50. All suffering from some type of recoverable injury. This will also depend on the type of service a given facility will offer. However, according to NCAL, 54 percent of assisted living residents are 85 years or older; 27 percent are 75-84 years old; 9 percent of residents are between 65 and 74 years; and 11 percent are younger than 65 years old
