Question description

Develop an application to determine the amount of a Realtor’s commission based on home sales as follows:

Under $200,000 = 4%

$200,000 - $500,000 = 6%

Over $500,000 = 8%

Have the user enter the total sales amount, and how many homes were sold in that price range.  This is done by a call to an input subroutine with two parameters: the selling price and the quantity sold. The inputs will then be passed to another subroutine that calls a function to compute and return the commission. A third subroutine displays the results.  Note: you will need to pass by value and by reference.

Two sample inputs & outputs could be:

#1. Inputs: 3 homes sold for a total of $189,600.00

Output: You sold 5 homes for $186,000. Your commission is $7,584.00

#2. Inputs: 5 homes, total $3,873,000.00

Output: You sold 5 homes for $3,873,000.00.  Your commission is $309,840.00

Use any controls you deem appropriate.
