Question Description
We know that the human body is good conductor, being almost 70% water. Also, we know that a dry skin has a resistance as high as 10^4 to 10^6 ohms. However, when the skin is wet, why does the resistance drops to 1000 ohms or less? Also, what does this have to do with how lie detectors operate?
