Question Description
Today we know that Copernicus was, in his most basic premise, right in his view of the universe. Our solar system centers on the sun, rather than on Earth, and we have extensive evidence to support that claim. At the time, though, there was significant resistance against Copernicus' assertion.
- Which argument against adopting the heliocentric model do you think was most compelling, and why?
