Making Decisions on Product Marketing Based on the Business Law
Question Description
Olaf, an executive with Pharma Product Distribution, Inc., has to decide whether to market a product that might have undesirable side effects for a small percentage of users. Based on the Approaches to Ethical Reasoning covered in Chapter 2, how should Olaf decide whether to sell the product? How does the standard of ethics that is APPLIED affect this answer? Compare and contrast two different standards from the six standards discussed and demonstrates how the two choices could lead to different, yet still ethical, answers. You may offer, and defend, your own opinion if it differs from the two standards you choose.
