It's great to be creative and think through how the argument works, but don't forget to spend a good half of your essay in analysis mode. The assignment is to pick apart your argument and analyze the "argument’s validity, soundness, strength, and cogency." (Sometimes people leave that part out or only spend a sentence on analysis!).Secondly, on that analysis of the "argument’s validity, soundness, strength, and cogency," note that you can't analyze each of those for each argument, because validity and soundness are qualities for deductive arguments, and strength and cogency are qualities for inductive arguments. So think about which type of argument you are dealing with first. Good luck!
