Question Description
A chemical process required 75 gallons of pure water each day. The available water contained 11 parts per million by mass of salt (for every 1,000,000 parts by mass of impure water, 11 parts are salt). What mass of salt must be removed each day? How much salt is removed in a years time? A gallon of water weighs 3.78 kg.
