1.  Navigate to Google (, enter a search term of your choice relating to cooking or baking in the text box, and then click the Google Search button.

a.  Take a screen capture of the search results screen.

b.  Next, open a new tab in your browser and navigate to Bing search ( Enter the same search term from the Google search in the Bing Search box, and then press Enter.

c.  Take a screen capture of the search results screen.

d.  Compare the two search results screens. Did you receive the same results?

e.  Conduct a search on: cooking and baking. Then, do a search on “cooking and baking” with the quotes. What differences do you see in your two sets of results?

f.  In a word processor, write up a brief summary of your results, including the search terms you used. Close the tabs.

2.  Navigate to dogpile ( and enter the search term you used in Step 1.

a.  Take a screen capture of the search results screen.

b.  Compare the search results to those in Step 1 - How did the results differ from the previous searches in Step 1? Add your comments about dogpile to your report.
