EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Driving after drinking is one of the biggest reasons of road traffic accidents’ death and mostly the person who is driving dies with killing the innocent victims as well. DESCRIPTON This proposal tells about the dangers and hazards of driving in the drunk state and it convinces the target audience not to do it in any case. There are different levels of being intoxicated from drinking to drive but no one can decide in a drunk situation that he is eligible to drive or no because to take a sensible decision, it is necessary to be in senses and whether the alcohol has been taken in more or less volume, it snatches the capability of decision making which a person has under normal circumstances, therefore, it is the best option to remember the golden rule, “Don’t Drink and Drive”. (WHO 2007) 5. RATIONALE To execute the proposal in a comprehensive manner, it is necessary to invite the specialists of the medical filed to suggest that what happens actually with the brain when any amount of alcohol is drunk. According to medical research, the brain receives fumes of the alcohol which starts instant drowsiness and brain does not work properly which causes the brain to shut down but the person still thinks that he is ‘OK’ where he is not OK at all for himself and the people crossing the roads on foot or by any vehicles. (Hingson 1996) 6. DELIVERY SCHEDULE The proposal will be implemented practically in one month time period by the technique of road-show to create awareness among the drivers and get their feedback about the views. 7. SITE PREPARATION To prepare for the practical activity, 3-4 teenage girls with flowers in their hands for every participating driver, one person who will talk to the drivers and one person to administer the whole team at the busiest traffic lights will be arranged. The script will be prepared of about 45-50 seconds to close things before the traffic light turns to green. 8. TRAINING Training will be provided to all the team members for smooth activity on the road keeping the biggest factor of the activity, the time because on a busy road, team has only 60 seconds to start and conclude the speech effectively and efficiently. 9. RESPONSIBILITIES Before leaving for the road-show, the team members must be briefed well about their responsibilities for example, the teenage girls must play their role for gifting the flowers to the drivers and the person who will talk to the drivers must know that what is his script and what he has to talk to them. 10. SALES PITCH This is the pitch which the person who will talk to the drivers with the concluding point of persuading them not to drive when they are drunk. 11. CONCLUSION& BENEIFT Prevention of driving after drinking through persuasion is the core objective of this proposal. The team is ready to start its task but waiting for the permission to be granted by the local police authorities and the traffic warden’s availability. It is one hand help peope realize that drink while driving is a dangerouse way. On the other hand, it may save people’s life and protect their security, and also bring a safety awareness. 12.
