Psychology problem: Results that supports the hypothesis

Question description

Researcher studying the effects of sleep on aggression, thinking less sleep leads to more aggression. Some people sleep 6 hours a night, some sleep 3 hours a night, and some sleep as much as they like.Researcher then counts participants aggressive acts during a basketball game.

Dependent Variable = Aggression  Independent Variable = Sleep  Number of levels = 3  Experimental Group = 6 hrs/sleep/night & 3 hrs/sleep/night  Control Group = Sleep as much as they like.  (if I understand this correctly, these are my answers, however, I do not understand how to come up with the:  RESULTS SUPPORTING THE HYPOTHESIS?
