Javascript (or jQuery) Script to Update an iframe showing Jquery MOBILE elements

timer Asked: Jun 20th, 2013

Question description

Here's what I currently have: ---->

I need it to function exactly like the site "Codiqa":

Here's another brief description of how I want it to function: Instructions.pdf

Right now all elements from the left can be dragged, but once you drop them in the iframe they will need to update the iframe to show the JQuery Mobile view of the elements

 (very silmiar to the Codiqa builder. If you don't want  to sign up for a free Codiqa account - go to and scroll down halfway until you see another builder - this is similiar to what I want.)

(1) Create a function that recognizes which object is being dropped into the iframe (or parent div).
(The objects will all be JQuery Mobile elements - JQM Header, Footer, Button, Link, Textarea, Text Input, etc...).

(2)The iframe needs to update itself to show the new JQUERY MOBILE elements that were added.

(3) Any additional elements may be APPENDED or PREPENDED to the iframe
