AspirinTM is made from a condensation reaction between benzoic acid and ethanoic acid.  It is an important pain reliever which can also help decrease the risk of heart attack. (5 marks)

a. List the conditions which must be present to create this compound (for the reaction to proceed).(1)

b. State why you would not consume this product if you made it in a school lab. (1)

c. Explain if aspirin made from plant sources would be any different than aspirin made from carbon sourced from petrochemical sources. (3)
