Write a 350- to 700-word paper using the scenario and two variables your learning team developed for the Week 2 Business Research Project Part 1 assignment, in which the goal is to submit a random sampling plan in such detail that another researcher could replicate the method. ( I am only including parts that are already done so you have a full understanding of what we are doing.)

I only need 1 & in bold covered in a 100-200 words, the others are covered. It is based from Verizon wireless if looking for numbers.

The company was added to the Dow Jones Industrial Average in 2004 and maintains a large presence in the wireless industry. In fact Cellular Company has more than one hundred million people logging in to the Cellular Company network on a daily basis. The revenue for Cellular Company is well over one hundred billion on an annual basis. Cellular Company is working toward bringing new technologies to its customers. Currently Cellular Company is spending millions of dollar to get fiber optic internet available to its customers. Company Cellular can trace its beginnings back to 1994 as a small subsidiary at the time. Now it is a contender within the highly competitive cellular service market. In recent years, the market has been saturated with new communication companies and changes in once generally accepted practices among all providers; for example shorter contracts and phone leases. Team Role Team C noticed the decline in sales over the last three quarters. This trend must be addressed immediately to ensure market share doesn’t continue to drop. The team’s goal is to find how an incentive program will affect sales within a given store. The independent variable within this project is the amount of incentive given to employees for monthly sales performance. The dependent variable is the amount of an employee’s monthly total sales in relation to the amount of bonus each is offered. Research Question The research question for this project is as follows: Is there a relationship between the amount of employee monthly total sales and the amount of bonus sale offered to the employees? If there is, how the relationship can be modeled in mathematics? Give the relationship between the bonus and the total sale, how can we use the information to maximize the profit of the store? Costing Methods: Business Research Project Part 1 3 Hypothesis Based on this research question, the null hypothesis is, “An increase of sales incentive for employees results in an increase of total sales. The contradictory hypothesis is, “Statistics show increasing employee bonuses increase total sales but not directly proportional to the incentive.” Independent and Dependent Variables There is a constant change and competitive nature in the wireless cellphone industry mainly understanding in the wireless service providers, with this many company’s look at option to entice the consumer market to choose their service network over a competitor’s network. The wireless company that team C has decided that there needs to be more employee involvement in the sales portion of the company. Given this information the wireless company is going to implement a new sales incentive to the employees so that there will be a added bonus to sell more products to the consumer that come into the stores and or call in. Through this we can show a independent variable of the sales incentive to the employees and the dependent variable will be if the incentive increases the sales in the store locations. These variables are able to be broken down in categories and also factual data information will be able to be records over a specific period of time to determine results for the wireless company. Conclusion Cellular Company ran into stagnant sales and is looking for an answer that will get them back on track. The company has been a part of the market since 1994 and sales tactics have changed and the organization must conform or be left behind. Team C is focusing on the correlation between incentive and sales performance. Data will be compiled in order to understand if incentive will spark sales or if it is not what is needed to ensure Cellular Company Costing Methods: Business Research Project Part 1 keeps its market share. The use of a null and contradictory hypothesis will help Team C answer the research question and provide a suggestion for Cellular Company and their future. 4
