Criminology in The Future
Everything in the world changes including people and so does crime. People look for ways to
commit crime and not be discovered or identified. In the area of law enforcement, a lot of effort
has been but to ensure that they are ahead a step or two to ensure that they catch those who
commit crime. Technology and law enforcement are working together today and many years to
come to ensure that the rate of crimes committed at a given duration is minimized. Technology is
fighting criminology through different ways such as modern methods of fighting crimes and
forensic technologies. However, technology can hider both moral and political boundaries.
Law enforcement has improved a lot from old days whereby everything was not into plan. There
is a great hope that law enforcement will be better than it is today some few years to come. There

committing such a crime. If the person is found with a certain mind problem, further
investigation is done on what contributed to it. Otherwise the person faces the law based on the
crime he or she has performed (Cullen, 2011).
In the future, new directions in dealing with criminals are about to be taken. Introduction of
intelligent systems that will be able to identify or record the face of the criminal is playing a
major role in this field. Nowadays faces of criminals are recorded, then compared to the stored
images in the database. If the face matches with another face stored in the databases, the details
of the criminal such as name, date of birth and address are produced making it easier to arrest the
criminal. This new technology has greatly improved this field therefore protecting and saving
