For a person to qualify for a Medicaid program he/she must be a resident of the state in which
they are receiving the service. This requirement ensures that only those who are nearest to the
service center are helped and ensures proper distribution of this services. Therefore, I agree with
this requirement.
A pregnant woman is eligible for receiving the Medicaid service. It is very important to help
pregnant women. However, it is not easy to differentiate between those who are able to finance
themselves and those who cannot in this requirement.
