Introduction
The Chinese culture on the acupuncture has faced globalization in the contemporary
world.Acupuncture has been influenced through various factors such aspolitical, economic,
technological and religious basing on the features of Chinese cultures. Due to globalization there
are factors of the world context that have influenced usage of acupuncture in United States as
discussed ethical disparities, economic factors and the social context/organization.
Political factors
Acupuncture was utilized as a potent political tool which was used to assess the Cultural
Revolution collaboration. Thus, patients and physicians were brought under considerable
political pressure to apply traditional techniques such as acupuncture. Mao Tse-Tung was left to
save Chinese culture on acupuncture by modelling it to the political arena (Dimond, 1971). The
era saw a revival of the acupuncture interest due to the party desire for increased authority and
control. In addition, it was purported to improve rural medication whereby the rural population
of China was unhealthy and neglected. This was during the Republic of China party in 1949
which was featured with few western doctors most of which card for foreigners and the wealthy.
Both western medicines alongside biomedical facilities tend to dominate though there are still
some clinics that offer absolute TCM and an increased number providing the western and
Chinese medicine.
Religious factors
Basing on the Confucian, Taoism and Buddhism perception, Chinese culture is based on
