Which careers did you consider throughout your life & which did you actually end up with?

Question Description

They all fell through for a number of reasons, the most prominent being that I HATE people/customer service, which I only realized after I obtained my first job when I was 17.

Now I am in college studying to be a Paralegal, which I finally realized is the job for me. You get to work independently (I hate working in teams/being told what to do), it's all about research/organization/writing, which I am very good at, it pays decently, & there is a demand for it. A win, win, win!

What about you? Which careers did you consider throughout your life, why didn't they work out, & which career did you finally end up with? What do you like about it?

BA goes to the most descriptive! :)
