Question Description

Artificial and natural selection are a different forms of a similar process. There are inherent similarities, and also some major differences. In a 6-8 slide PowerPoint presentation (this could also be done in Prezi, Keynote, or another slideshare software program), compare and contrast the processes of artificial and natural selection. Use image and text to address the processes of both. What has been gained from these processes? Are there any drawbacks in using one over the other?

In the presentation address the prompt above, and also include the following:

  • Definitions of artificial and natural selection
  • An example of artificial selection, using an example of your choice, or one of the following: breeds of dogs, cattle, horses, cats, corn, or wheat
