Introduction
A substantial amount of research has been done on how people learn and what has been
suggested is that we learn to write from reading. The aim of this paper is to analyze the reasons
why I learned to read to write. The individual style of writing is achieved through reading which
aligns with what has been documented on language acquisition. Most of the language
acquisitions process takes place subconsciously and not studying deliberately and it it’s a result
of input that we learn and not from output. This paper will also explore the reason for learning
how to read and how it has been important to me.
Discussion of reasons for learning how to read and write
From time to time I have asked myself why should I learn to read and yet it seems not a necessity
from Mother Nature. There are so many things that I could do with my reading time, but yet I
chose to learn how to read. There are several reasons why I opted to learn to read. Reading is
important in the current society more than in the past. Everything that I interact with on a daily
basis from the primary road sign requires me to know how to read just to live comfortably within
the society. The daily encounters of life can be frustrating if one does not have the basics of
knowing how to read.
Communication is very vital in life, and it can be enhanced through learning how to read and
write. As one communicates through reading one gets to understand more and hence be able to
