Project 2- Architectural Plan Set The goal of this project is to develop a set of floor plans, elevations and cross sections given the defined criteria: 1. 2 Story Detached Residence 2. Ceiling Heights 8'-4" 3. Steps 8" rise / 11" run, 36" wide / with a 3' x 3' landing at top and bottom 4. Windows - Window widths and height can vary but bedroom windows must have at least a 15 SF area (min 30" wide) 5. Doors - Exterior 36"x 80", Interior 30"x80" min 6. Exterior wall shall be 12" thick 7. Each floor is 12" thick 8. Interior wall shall be 6" thick 9. Total footprint of each floor shall be 1800 SF MAX 10. Your house must have minimum one kitchen, one full bathroom, one bedroom 11. All plan sheets are to be 11"x17" with a landscape orientation 12. Plan scale is 14" = 1' 13. MAINTAIN A LOGICAL LAYER SYSTEM AND USE APPROPRIATE LAYER COLORS FOR LINE WEIGHT Sheets: 1. First Floor Plan a. Include room labels b. Pertinent dimensions C. Finish Table d. Room Area Table 2.
