Thomas Hobbes had three concepts of the state of nature, the social contract and the structure of
the state which is also known as the Leviathan. His concept of the state of nature argues that at a
time where there is no power given to any individuals, all humans are equal. This being the case,
they all seek success and they will fight for it such that life is full of war, misery and it is very
short. His second concept on social contract provided that after the state of nature, individuals
became sociable and entered into agreements such that some parted with their rights in order to
salvage another if the other party did the same (Cary). This being the case, life as no longer an
all-out war where everybody wanted to live, and the society was created (Yurdusev)....
