SBA works with a lot of federal agencies awarding 23% of all prime contracting dollars to small
businesses. The Small Business Administration, SBA, also works with disadvantaged persons, in
a program that is sophisticated to assist grow their business via technical guidance through
individual guidance, and also training workshops.
When looking into government contracting, a good place to begin with the SBA. The
SBA offers lots of programs that assist small businesses such as financial and procurement
assistance, minority small business, business development and advocacy, (Pat, 2003). The
procurement assistance would be the most essential program. PTAC, that is the Procurement
