After you complete the readings, complete this assignment.
Within your healthcare organization examine and inspect the following practices. If you do not currently work for a healthcare organization, answer the questions regarding your current or most recent employer:
1. Explain and list the types of healthcare insurances plans accepted in your organization and why they’re accepted.
2. Discuss the types of healthcare insurance plans that are not accepted in your organization as well as the reason they aren’t accepted.
3. Determine if your organization is rural or urban and measure the percentage of uncompensated care.
4. Inspect your organizations payor mix, evaluate to see if your organization doing well financially.
5. Research whether or not your organization offers a Health Savings Account (HSA). Assess the advantages and disadvantages of having an HSA.
Write a 2-3 page paper using APA style formatting, not including cover sheet. At minimum use 3 outside references for this assignment less than 5 years old, and include a APA style formatted reference page. Analyze and distinguish each of the questions thoroughly.

The US military group has one of the highest health benefit expenditures in the United
States. Unlike the public population, however, not every health benefit plan works for the
military. Notably, military face major risks unlike the general public and their duties are not
restricted locally. In this case, the military personnel does not necessarily have to subscribe to
health insurance plans. Rather, this is done by the military health system (MHS), which is an
agency that oversees the health insurance coverage amongst the members of the military. This
way, the members are automatically enrolled once they join the forces. The plans that operate
within this group are Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans
