List 8 distinct sequence stratigraphical features or sedimentary features that are relevant to sea-level change and sediment supply. For each of the 8 features you have chosen, indicate whether these features occur in the following settings:
- a carbonate ramp
- a siliciclastic system with a shelf break
- a mixed siliciclastic/carbonate succession in a carbonate rimmed shelf setting
If any of the 8 features you have chosen don’t occur in all 3 settings listed explain why.
For at least 6 of your chosen features, describe features that show how one of the settings (a carbonate ramp, a siliciclastic system with a shelf break, a mixed siliciclastic/carbonate succession in a carbonate rimmed shelf setting) differs from the other two.
