Health Patient Interview

Shadow Health Patient Interview
I contacted an interview with Stephane Jones a patient with suffering from an injury of
the right foot. During the interview, I was able to survey the patient, make assessment of the
current status of the patient, know the past medical history of the patient, and assess the cultural
background of the patient.(Enelow, Forde, & Brummel-Smith, 1996) During the interviews. I
documented all the nursing progress notes and the assessment of the EHR shift. During the
discussion, I used therapeutic form of communication. It was on the 28th May 2017, when a 28year-old woman of African-America origin visited ED for an evaluation of her foot which got
injured while she was replacing a bulb. She admits that she got scraped by a metallic surface.
The physical appearance of the foot was featured by swelling and redness next to the point of
maximum pain. The interview involved a format of questions and answers/responses.
