Jimmy Beans Wool is a company which has been operational since 2002. The company
had been experiencing steady rises in their revenues from $1 million to $7 Million in 2013 and
then suddenly the fortunes that the company was making seemed to start dwindling to the point
that the couple who own the stores started using their personal savings to get the company up
and running (Gardella, 2014). The manager, Zanders, sought the expertise of a different
consultant who gave different advise from her previous consultant who were keen to making the
company grow to a national and international one.
The issues that the company had had were as a result of failure to understand what the
company stands for and spending so much money on the expansion than the company would
accommodate as the manager noted. Having grown out of a small store and dealing exclusively
with yarn sales, the company had then started working on selling fabric and they changed their
marketing tact of using the online media such as YouTube to sponsorships and donations to try
and woo customers to their new fabric product. The scale of operations rose to a level that the
