A number of countries have been involved in Civil Wars in the past. The United States of
America is an example of a country that has undergone a series of Civil Wars in the past. This is
a situation of internal wars where a group of individuals is fighting the national government.
These unlawful groups are commonly known as rebels and they have various reasons for
engineering wars in a country. The blacks were allowed to take part in the Civil Wars in U.S. and
they played a very important role (Reis, 2009). This paper mainly discusses the history of the
black soldiers’ involvement in the Civil War as well as the reasons for involvement.
In 1862, blacks were allowed to enroll in the U.S army. This gave them more
