Each video is about 45 min to 60 min in length and has neuroscientists and psychologists discuss how different aspects of behavior and thought are rooted in the brain. I want you to reflect on the following aspects: • What topics were covered in the video? What did you know about the topics prior to watching the video? What new information did you learn from watching the video? What would like to learn more about after watching the video? I recommend having a paragraph for each point. You must include the name of the video you watched. The written assignment must be submitted electronically as a Word or PDF document (.doc, .docx, .pdf) on Blackboard. The document must abide by the general rules for written assignments (see syllabus). You are encouraged to use the textbook and lecture notes to complete the assignment. You will be graded on how well you address each of the items below. Grading Rubric: (20pts) (10pts) What topics were covered in the video? Give a brief summary about four topics that were discussed in the video - giving i) a description of each topic so that someone who has not seen the video can understand what it means and (ii) what aspect of each topic was discussed (e.g., topic is consciousness, aspect is how to measure it). Pick the topic that was covered in the video that most interested you. Discuss what you knew about the topic prior to watching the video and how you had learned that information. The neuroscientists measure how blood flow and neural network connectivity uncovers impairments. Charlie rose and the panel explore how brain controls influences in social behavior in humans and other animals. The team examines the causes, effects and treatment not autism. The team in the video analyze brain areas linked to social behaviors in underdeveloped and insufficiently network in youths with high functioning autism. The neuroscientists examines how neural system of the body connects to the brain and impairment can lead to autism which changes the social behavior of an individual. According the video, autism is mental condition presently from early childhood and characteristic with difficulty in communication and forming relationships with other people especially by use of language and abstract concepts.
