We learned today that the lower level is covered in black mold, green mold, other colored mold (the inspector didn't see it) we also learned at some point the lower level was flooded because the paneling is bowed, doors dont ckose right. we started getting sick as soon as we moved in and pushed it off as allergies, but my allergies Don't usually make me live off my inhaler. Anyway, we got a usda loan which wouldn't have approved it if they were aware of the mold, but wouldn't the appraiser have seen it as well?? Could we sue the sellers, their realtor, our realtor and our inspector, because this is why we hire people right, and by law sellers are supposed to disclose? And the sellers had this house since it was built 37 yrs ago so there is no reason not to disclose it. Plus they out a sump pump in the same month they listed it due to dampness but there's no dampness from the back rout corner of the garage to the utility room next to it was a stream in last nights rain. Or is there a way to get out from under this'd house because if we would have been told prior or it was disclosed in the disclosure we would not have purchased this property!
