Bottled water is something that is going to be in demand. Even with the many filtering products that are out right now, there will still be times when we need uncontaminated bottle water. A prime example would be the events that happened in West Virginia. With water being contaminated the only choice people in the area had was to buy bottled water. So in some case, “reasonable use” might not ideally fit the time and situation.
When the need for water is at its highest, I feel there should be a pass given to Nestle that allows them to take more than the average amount of water. However, because Nestle is not the land owner, ultimately, they must follow the rules of the community. I think that because Nestle leases the property where they are getting their water, they need to follow what the locals or owners feel is best for the land.
